Manufactured Structures was formed in 1984 in Middlebury, Indiana and was dedicated to the production of custom design and build products. Beginning in 1995 through 1997, the Company added several small production facilities in Larwill, Indiana producing Inter-Plant-Offices (IPO's); Albion, Indiana producing mainly doublewide classrooms; and Wawaka, Indiana which produced construction trailers.
In 1999, management decided to relocate to Rochester, Indiana and consolidate all facilities under one roof. Consolidation provided more control of the operations, less staff, and reduced operating costs. The Rochester location was selected because there was an ample workforce available, at a lesser cost.
Purchasing 26 acres in 2000, a 25,000 square foot facility began being constructed. By the end of 2003, all operations were relocated to Rochester, Indiana.
In 2006, we had maximized our production capacity and management decided to add an additional 12,500 square foot addition on the east end of the building, and in the spring of 2007, an additional 12,500 square foot addition to the west end of the building. This allowed us to accommodate two production lines, thus giving the potential to double our 2006 production output.
In June 2013, Manufactured Structures Corp. was purchased by Titan International, Inc. (NYSE - TWI), headquartered in Quincy, Illinois and was renamed Titan Manufactured Structures of Indiana, Inc. Titan owns subsidiaries that supply wheels, tires, assemblies and undercarriage products for off-highway equipment used in agricultural, earthmoving/construction and consumer applications.
Since the incorporation into the Titan family, our production lines, facility, and dedication have not changed. We continue to design, engineer, build and service our quality movable and permanent commercial modular buildings.
